The song was written in the first Flaviyake’s visit to Los Angeles, but she did not have a clear idea of what to write in the Bridge until she met Kevin Kadish, the producer of “All About That Bass”, at the ASCAP expo. Their conversation inspired her to write the missing lines in the Bridge and finally finish the song.

The work process took a year and each step followed the signs from the Universe, as Flaviyake believed. Before going to Los Angeles, she found 3 white feathers by turns in her apartment and later saw a post on Facebook saying that white feathers are sent by angels telling us we are walking the right path. Flaviyake wrote the Chorus line: “Feathered sky in the City of Angeles” while actually having no chance to see such a sky there, and she was not sure if that line sounded believable. She got that chance once she had the song written. On her way to the recording studios, she always saw feathered sky in Los Angeles.
